Hype Williams always made good videos, Kenna just recently started making decent music, together… you get this. Videos just as fun and crazy as the song. I like the fear and loathing scene at the end too. Kenna’s Make Sure They See My Face album is pretty good. Very different and fresh, and features alotta great neptunes production (although i think Pharrell really took the reigns on this one).
Its a scientifically proven fact that anything Dr.Dre touches turns to gold; this is proof. During my random music search today, I came across some random Rolling Stones songs, including the remix of Miss You that Dre did for the… lol…. Austin Powers Goldmember Soundtrack. It’s amazing in so many ways.
Love coming across old favorites.

Dj duo Cappel & Smitty have sssseeeeriously come across something here. The mashed up…. wait a second….. FRANK SINATRA and CHRISTOPHER WALLACE (Biggie for those of you who live under rocks). The mash-up tape entitled “Blue Eyes Meets Bed-Stuy” (clever right?), has been floating around for a few years now apparently, so maybe I actually have been living under a rock. But I’m out now. And I’m listening to Biggies Juicy flow over a copped up New York, New York beat, and I-Am-Speechless….
(zShare)
P.S. Fuck living under rocks.
If your into having audio/video induced epilepsy attacks on the regular….. Danger is for you. Check out the 11h30 track. Its interesting. Also, his artwork makes you feel like your in a demented LOST episode, which i find really frrrrriggin awesome.
Rub some funk on The Strokes, marinate well, cook high heat for 30 minutes, and…Presto. Check ’em out.
Rich Girls has quite possibly one of the funkiest basslines since Bill Withers was in the game.

I’ve been a Bun B fan since the first time i heard Ridin’ Dirty, but lately the man has been ALL OVER THE PLACE (in the best way). He’s staying positive after the death of the late great Pimp C (r.i.p.), and has been doing really really awesome and unusual colaborations with some really great artists (M.I.A., Wale, Dizzee Rascall, etc.), and I get excited every time I see his name on a track cause theyre all fantastic. He’s even doing a track with Kidz In the Hall on the upcoming DJ Green Lantern Obama Mixtape. Rediculous.
The man rubs southern funk on tracks like it was marinade.
–Paper Planes (Remix)- M.I.A. ft. Bun B & Rich Boy
–Back in the Go-Go- Wale ft. Bun B & Pusha T
-Where da G’s At?- Dizzee Rascal ft. Bun B
–Kidz in the Hall ft. Bun B & Talib Kweli- Work To Do (Change Remix)

I’ve been up on Wale for a minute now, and I’ve gotta say, its great to see him gettin the looks he deserves. His big break came wen he spit hot fiah over Justice’s D.A.N.C.E., months later he was featured on the cover of Urb Magazine with the Parisian dance duo, and named one of Rolling Stones Artists to Watch in 2008. The Go-Go influenced rapper has been floodin the internet with tracks, but not filler, I’m talkin TRACKS. Not only was his 100 Miles and Running mixtape [link] huge on the internet, but Nike Boots [mp3] was also the iTunes Single of the Week, featured in a Nike commercial, and remixed by none other that Weezy F. Baby (please say the baby). With all of that, His upcoming Seinfeld inspired Mixtape About Nothing (which even includes a guest skit by the shows Julia Louis Dreyfus), and being featured on The Roots new single (officially) Rising Up [mp3], its no wonder that he finally got signed with Interscope records. That dosent mean that he’ll forget where he came from, he still seems to be doing work with Mark Ronson and his Allido Records camp. Wale…. bringin the spotlight to D.C.
p.s. take note of his shoe game, cause its nuckin futs.
Please, please, please check out all of Wale’s work, but especially these standout tracks, cause he MURDERS beats on these shits.
-Rising Up (The Roots ft. Wale & Chrisette Michelle) [mp3]
–Back In The Go-Go (ft. Bun B & Pusha T) [mp3]

-Roof (DJ Ayres Mix) [mp3]
-Chicago Falcon The Washington Sq. Lads Remix ft. The Budos Band (prod. by Mark Ronson) [mp3]
