So everybody knows (pun intended) that “Everyone Nose” is the first single off N.E.R.D.’s soph-o-more album entitled Seeing Sounds. BUT! the video for this single, in my personal oppinions, is probably one of the most original things I’ve seen done in a while by Pharrell and posse. The whole idea was based off of the lastnightsparty approch of capturing the shloppy messes that occur at many “hipster-ish” parties. Whether it be the abundance of young fashionistas (ranging from too hot for their own good, to jesus christ I wish I’d never met you), or the typical drunken douchebaggery that any night on the town entails, Bronques (lastnightsparty photographer) captures the hot messes in all their glory. SOOOO, Pharrell decided to A) pretty much throw a party instead of a video shoot, B) have Bronques and crew document, and C)… throw another party and have Bronques document. The video’s funny as hell. The lastnightsparty photos are funny as hell. The whole things just funny as hell. As for the song…. weeeeellllll you be the judge.

So on my recent visit to my friend Bubba’s place up in Poughkeepsie aka. Po-town, events ensued that i probably shouldnt talk about over the phone like this, but suffice it to say that this toilet was victim to the mess we’ve all come to know and love, Ashlee. After a loud boom and a few gyser spirts of water, we came to find Hurricane Ashlee standing over her latest mess, and I must say, this is one of her finer works. Not quite a masterpiece, but its definatley rounding top 3. Gotta love that girl.
As John Locke (from LOST you fool) would say…the toilet… was a sacrifice the island demanded.
