Hereisthis.com has some really great short films documenting some interesting people and places. I found a link to it on TWBE when they did a write up on the “Art Mover” video, which is amazing I think. Real telling of the impact of art, and someone who realizes its importance. Upon checking out the site… the other vids are GRRRREAt tooo. Check em.

Wired did a piece on eco-friendly motorcylces that still maintain a cool/badass feel. I didnt even know that was possible, but in my oppinion this one takes the cake. Just plain sick.

This is what comic book artists (keyword artists) have been waiting for. The new exhibition at the MET, shows nothing but… you guessed it… Superheroes. From Spidey, to Iron Meng, to Catwoman, the whole gang has come out to show that they arent just for kids. In fact, all of the Heroes have their much more fashionable counterparts there as well. Many fashion designs inspired by the pages of their comic books and movies, stand along side the characters.
This is amazing

**”Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (until Sept. 1).**

Just caught something while browsing about B’ast. Checked it out… arts amazing. I say Basquiat meets Warhol, but thats just me. Being that those are my two favorite artists of all time, I’m jumpin on this train whether its moving or not. Website is great. It’s all just… Great. Here are some gems:

Just got really interested in this article. Jill Freedman was is a photographer who knows how to find the flower in the gutter. During the 70’s she took some of the grittiest photos of NYC that I’ve ever seen at least.

Apparently theyre eco-friendly, use less energy, and sound great.
I dun really care tho… they look cool.

The new Blackberry 9000 (far right), looks bootifuwl. Kinda looks like an iPhone, but get this… It has a real keyboard. Not one of those imaginary ones like the thing i’ve been typing on for months now. Don’t get me wrong, I loves my iPhone, but texting is a complete female dog (bitch, for all the young kids in the room). Just like the other Blackberrys, the 9000 has cameras, emails, etc. With the exception of the WiFi addition… nothing really new here.
It sure is sexy tho.
